In 2025, we will celebrate the 10th annual Christmas care drive through Aspire to Inspire.

Aspire to Inspire has been an ongoing series of charitable initiatives since 2016, dedicated to serving hope—one person at a time—to those experiencing homelessness, poverty, or life transitions and in need of a helping hand. What started as 100 care packages in its inaugural year has grown over the years. Initially based in the GTA, the campaign expanded to Northern Ontario and has even been featured on CTV during our founder, Rebecca Nobrega’s tenure there. Now, we’re back in the GTA with the goal of reaching more communities. This success has been made possible through generous donations from the community and invaluable volunteers. Over the years, we’ve partnered with organizations like Shoppers Drug Mart, Sudbury Wolves, Venetian Banquet Hall, Pets Mart, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Burrito Boyz, United Way, A Celebrity Limousine, California Sandwiches, hockey teams, the Mayor of King City, dental offices, schools, grocery stores, and many others. Another initiative close to our hearts is supporting local animal shelters, providing much-needed supplies, care, and advocacy for animals in need. Rebecca has also spoken in classrooms, inspiring young minds to get involved. A truly heartwarming development has emerged—people are hosting ‘Kindness Parties,’ bringing together friends, families, and schools to create care packages, while businesses and students are stepping up to give back. What started as a drive has become a movement, spreading the spirit of giving into homes, workplaces, and classrooms.

We did it! Our 9th Annual Christmas Care Drive has officially been completed! Each holiday season, we focus on three core initiatives:

1. Creating and distributing care packages across the GTA

2. Hosting a Christmas dinner for a shelter in need

3. Collecting and donating to local animal shelters and rescues

This year, we’re proud to say that we surpassed our goal!

Thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity, we created, collected, and delivered 420 packages that made Christmas brighter for so many. On December 14, 2024, we hosted our annual dinner for a shelter in need, bringing joy and warmth to 55 women and children. They received not only the care packages but also a warm meal, gifts delivered by Santa, a fun-filled day with activities like face painting, gingerbread house making, coloring, and visits from special Marvel characters. It was truly a day full of love and joy. We also successfully delivered our animal donations to Sue’s Rescue, where the furry friends received much-needed love and care. Every year, we’re reminded that kindness extends to all, and we’re proud to support those who care for animals in need.

9th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER FOR A SHELTER IN NEED

On December 14, 2024, as part of our 9th annual Christmas drive, we hosted a dinner for 55 women and children at a local shelter. Volunteers set up a coloring station, buffet, gingerbread house station, and a photo booth from SNAP6. Thanks to A Celebrity Limousine, the kids had a red carpet entrance, a visit from Santa, and toys for everyone. The night was filled with Marvel characters, face painting, and laughter. I am extremely passionate about helping people as well. In 2016, I founded ‘Aspire to Inspire with bbnobrega’, a series of on-going initiatives revolving around serving hope among individuals and animals that need a helping hand, one at a time. Working collaboratively with donors and volunteers, Aspire to Inspire has been able to successfully execute an annual Christmas care drive for those in need, for the past five years. The goal is to spread love, enrich lives, share the power of giving, spread awareness, and make the world a better place. In addition to these initiatives, I produce, write, and create content for social media and Aspire to Inspire’s YouTube channel. On it, you will find videos showcasing the above initiatives, as well as interviews with inspiring individuals.
